Maria do Rosário Frade

Portugal-born, Paris-residing Maria creates her illustrations using simple, pure geometric shapes; with a healthy dash of surrealism, and a sprinkling of Gallic humour, chucked in for good measure. Her drawings are offbeat – built from joyful lines and strong colours – creating a happy graphic style which has adorned print magazines, news sites and hip brand commissions.
