In Andrew Hudson’s hands, ordinary lines of text burst with life. Everyday slogans are splashed with personality. Letters of the alphabet become the canvas, swashing with bucket loads of colour.

The London-based graphic artist is the latest Different Folk signing. He draws inspiration from his surroundings: be it signage, lyrics or fragments of overheard conversations, turned into art that dazzles the retinas; inspirational messaging that may be the only pep talk you need to get through the back half of 2022.

Expect to see his work lighting up dilapidated walls; daubed on craft beer cans; and emblazoned across billboards, illuminating overcast skies.
